This research looks into the modeling and standard setting based on behavior of characters in Quran stories and examines the primers to this intellectual process.
Progression from the partial example to the general rule requires pursuing the following four steps: verification of occurrence of a behavior in the story, acquiring qualification or behavioral certification, decision of the storyteller to templating the behavior, and affirmation of the domain of popularization of the behavior.
In the process of general behavioral pattern adaptation from Quran stories, there is no escape from the audience prior knowledge and assumptions; in fact, there is a probability that the audience her/himself already knows which one is the suitable behavior for pattering and which is not; and therefore, sets up a model based on the suitable behavior while dismisses the unsuitable behavior. Furthermore, uncertainty and doubt in the intention of the storyteller for standard setting, provides an opportunity for the advancement of the audience’s assumptions.
