The current research is an attempt to answer this basic question that what is the role of Takfiri movement in divergence of thought and belief in the world of Islam. Accordingly the hypothesis formulated is that Takfiri movement adopts a negative attitude toward Islamic sects and makes extremist sectarian divisions aimed at creation and expansion of divergence in the level of thought and belief in the world of Islam. Developing awareness of this issue opens up the possibility to offset the threatening role of Takfiri movement in creation of divergence and change it into an opportunity of convergence in the world of Islam. To this aim, the current research has first introduced and explained Takfiri movement (dependent variable) in the level of thoughts and beliefs and then contrasted components and indices of this movement with those of convergence in the world of Islam which counterbalances the role of the movement in creation of divergence.  The research findings shows that in the level of thoughts and beliefs the movement adopts some components including unconventional discretion, failure in innovatory and dynamic thinking, Takfir of religions and religious dissidents, superficiality and externalism, blind bias and dogmatism, absolute obedience to the predecessors and schismatic understanding of religious beliefs and concepts which cause divergence and are in sharp contrast with those of convergence in the world of Islam such rule-governedness, intellectualism, firm belief in nearness of religions and creation of Islamic nation, profound thinking and comprehensive look toward religion, flexibility and moderateness, foresight and emphasis on joint religious aspects. <strong>مسئله تکفیر از دیرباز یکی از محورهای اساسی تعارض و خشونت در ادیان و ملل مختلف بوده است. این موضوع در دوره حساس کنونی به یکی از مسائل مبتلابه جهان اسلام تبدیل شده و توجه به آن بیش از گذشته اهمیت پیدا کرده است. مقاله حاضر درصدد پاسخ‌گویی به این پرسش اساسی است که جریان تکفیری در ایجاد واگرایی اعتقادی و اندیشه­ای در جهان اسلام چه نقشی می­تواند داشته باشد؟</strong><strong>فرضیه عبارت است از اینکه جریان تکفیری با نگاه منفی به مذاهب اسلامی و به‌وجود آوردن مرزبندی­های افراطی فرقه­ای، به ایجاد و گسترش واگرایی در سطوح فکری و اعتقادی در جهان اسلام دامن می­زند. آگاهی از این موضوع، امکان تبدیل این تهدید را به فرصتی برای شکل­دهی به هم­گرایی در جهان اسلام فراهم می­آورد. بدین منظور، مقاله حاضر ضمن معرفی و تبیین جریان تکفیری (متغیر مستقل) و مسئله هم</strong><strong>­</strong><strong>گرایی و واگرایی در جهان اسلام (متغیر وابسته) در سطح باورها و افکار، </strong><strong>به تعارض مؤلفه­ها و شاخص­های جریان تکفیری با مؤلفه­های هم</strong><strong>­</strong><strong>گرایی در جهان اسلام که منجر به تأثیرگذاری و نقش­آفرینی منفی این جریان در ایجاد هم­گرایی جهان اسلام می­شود، اشاره می</strong><strong>‌</strong><strong>نماید.</strong><strong>یافته­ها نشان داد در سطح باورها و افکار، مؤلفه­های جریان تکفیری نظیر اجتهاد بی­ضابطه،</strong><strong> دوری از اندیشه­ورزی نوآورانه و پویا، تکفیر مذاهب و دگراندیشان مذهبی، سطحی‌اندیشی و اصالت ظواهر، تعصبات کور و دگماتیسم، پیروی محض از گذشتگان و برداشت و تلقی افتراق­انگیز از مفاهیم و اعتقادات دینی در تعارض با مؤلفه­های فکری و اعتقادی هم</strong><strong>­</strong><strong>گرایی در جهان اسلام نظیر اجتهاد ضابطه­مند، خردگرایی، باور به تقریب مذاهب و تشکیل امت اسلامی، عمیق‌اندیشی و نگاه جامع به دین، انعطاف­پذیری و مدارا، آینده­نگری و تأکید بر اشتراکات اعتقادی و مذهبی قرار گرفته است و منجر به ایجاد واگرایی می­شود.</strong> https://raj.smc.ac.ir/article_32749_80ebbb3510090df5521e42994353a471.pdf
