A critical view over relativism

Abstract
Ethical relativism, being one of the new theories, has been studied critically by those believing in ethical values and teachings during recent century. This paper, having justified some fundamental concepts in the field, has analyzed the three types of relativism: descriptive relativism, meta-ethical relativism and normative relativism.
The paper has argued against the proofs supporting relativism saying that in descriptive relativism, the difference in fundamental principles of ethics, if there would be any, can be relied on, rather than superficial differences found in communities, the relativity of all ethical propositions claimed in meta-ethics is self-contradicted and in this way, normative relativism also would be of no foundation.
