Abstract
Manahil al-Irfan fi Ulum al-Quran was compiled by Muhammad Abd al-Azim Zarqani , a leading scholar and professor in al-Azhar university , in two volumes . It is included the most important problems of Quranic sciences in detail . Being faithful to the views and opinions of the pasts including Zarkeshi , Ibn Jazari and particularly Suyuti . The author has brought in to consideration essential needs and demands of the university students when writing the work .
This paper has presented a brief review of the book and then ,referring to some of its failures , has criticized its sixth chapter in detail .
