The religion of Islam, having the most progressive laws in all human relations, including social life and man's relationship with God, with himself and with the nature, has long doubted the adherence to certain rules, regulations and customs in achieving theosophical perfections. It has also opposed the necessity of Shari'ah, by referring to some Qur'anic verses. The present study by using library method in data collection, and employing critical-analytical method in analyzing the text and citing extra-religious rational arguments and narrative arguments and Quranic verses, has concluded that in order to achieve theosophical knowledge, adherence to practical rules (ahkam) is necessary, and the arguments cited by the claimants of theosophy void of shari'a are weakly incorrect.
