The centrality of language in twentieth-century philosophical thought and its determining position in Gadamer's philosophical hermeneutics, and on the other hand, the reliance of political pluralism on Gadamerian hermeneutics, make it important to examine language and politics in Georg Gadamer's thought and criticize it based on religious teachings. With this aim, the present research examines Gadamer's ontological approach to language and its relationship with politics, and then extracts the importance of language in Imam Ali's (a) words in Nahjul-Balagha, its meanings and themes, and addresses the desirable relationship between language and politics from the perspective of Nahjul-Balagha. This study questions the relationship between truth and language in Gadamer's thought and the opposition of the continuous renewal of human existence that Gadamer sees in language from the perspective of Nahj al-Balagha, and presents the desired language and its relationship with politics from the perspective of Nahj al-Balagha. The results are expressive that Nahj al-Balagha, in agreement with Gadamer, does not silence thinking about language, but considers it a wonderful power, thinks about the situation of the absence of language, that is, silence, and expresses the relationship of silence with the nature of human existence, and at a higher level than Gadamer's thought, it provides the possibility of an ontological view of language and places it in a position for thought and intellectual renewal, and by giving authenticity to truth, it connects any reflection on language with a view to truth, honesty, and action.
