the idea is also seen in Persian literature. The problem is that despite this commonality, ideas and consequently different patterns of culture and religion, family, politics, and ownership have been formed and evolved among the followers of these religions, which are due to different interpretations of this creative relationship between man and God. Following that, fundamental issues such as the relationship between Adam and Eve, the fall, the life of man and woman, the individual and the collective on earth, etc. have been put forward. In particular, the idea of man`s being as an example for God has been the basis for fundamental equality or inequality, including the evolution of politics. This article, while referring to this common literature of religions and relying on the thought of John Locke`s thought as a case study, has intended to study the way in which he has tried to illustrate the idea of fundamental equality of humans through theological discussions and provide a theological foundation for equality in citizenship and a political order based on consent. The descriptive and interpretive method of the article has used Reinhard Kosselleck's theory of conceptual history and Jeremy Waldron's literature as a theoretical framework. This research shows that, contrary to the assumption of some secularists, the most important founders of political modernity were not without theology. Also, the affinity of Abrahamic religions provides the possibility of transferring epistemological and methodological experiences among them. This article can provide an opportunity for comparative and critical studies to examine why theological and political interpretations differ among thinkers of Abrahamic religions despite sharing such ideas.
